Conner Mitchell is an associate attorney with Grissom Miller.
Mr. Mitchell graduated from Washburn University School of Law in 2024. While in law school, he served as both a member and president of the Moot Court Council and was a member of the ABA Negotiations Competition team. During his final year of law school, Mitchell served as an intern with the civil section of Washburn’s law clinic, assisting indigent clients in the Shawnee County area. Additionally, Mitchell graduated with a certificate specializing in workplace law. Mitchell is a member of the Order of the Barristers, an honor society for United States law school graduates who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing.
Prior to law school, Mitchell worked professionally as a journalist for the Post and Courier in Charleston, South Carolina, followed by stints at Endpoints News, the Lawrence Journal-World and as a founding reporter of the Lawrence Times, all based in Lawrence, Kansas. His passion for workers’ rights developed as a journalist and is what ultimately led him to law school and the legal profession.
